Yikes.  I just did it.  I put in my order for the D3.  I am expecting it end of April - beginning of May.  Not long after I return from my workshop with all sorts of great new tips and techniques a la Mare.  SO EXCITED!  Great things are on the horizon for me!

I am so anxious I can hardly stand it.  This camera will revolutionize my work.  I can almost TASTE it.  Ok maybe I am being a bit dramatic but I really don't think so.

Remember when I said that everyone in the household must suffer?  Right.  And, THAT D3 is why we are staying home for spring break.  sorry kid.  He reminds me every day that he wants to go back to Puerto Rico.  El Con = D3.  Mom chose the D3.

Sweet Baby

Any more baby models out there for me???  I took the 3 month photos of this sweet little guy today.  OK, I totally admit I was scared. I haven't photographed a baby in over a year now!  Wow.  It was really fun!  I loved it!  And, this photo with my ghetto DIY ringflash is particularly exciting to me.  Thank you to all the great baby photogs at ILP who inspired me!!  After a very busy and long week I am glad to relax in the excitement of my latest photo crush.  BIG GRIN!  :-D

I had to go back again.  I just can't believe how late the sun is going down already!  I thought 5:30 would be better!  Silly me!

More Crushing Love

Today was a whirlwind of kids.  Yes, kids galore.  Couldn't have asked for better weather.  It was GORGEOUS in Norfolk.  A hint that spring  is near?  I HOPE so.  And, glad I got a chance to add these lovely photos to my portfolio.

After doing some INTENSIVE behind the scenes work for the past few weeks, I had a photo shoot with the lovely Julia and Sophia.  Adorable and sassy, here is a fun shot that I just adore!  I just love the look of attitude!  It is so real!

I apologize for my long absense.  I have not forgotten and I will sit down to post soon.  Not only have I been a coughing mess lately but I have been busy busy at work with photos.   When I get the chance in my forced-down-time later this week I will come up with a juicy confession!  Right.  It's me.  How juicy can it be??
